This card is made with gorgeous paper from Maja Design.
The collecton I have used is Gammaldag Jul <3
All the layers on the card is from a dies set from Go Kreate called Frilly #7 and inked with Distress Ink Ground Espresso.
If you look at the picture are all the layers covered with True Snow and Glitter.
The large paper flowers, is a Tim Holtz dies and called Tattered Poinsettia. These flowers are fastened with a button in the middle, I have inked them with Distress Ground Espress and covered them with True Snow and glitter.
In between two of the flowers I have made a brown bow.
God Jul is a die from kaBoks, which means Merry Christmas in English.
If you turn the card, I have made one minor card at the back. If you open up the bow, you can write a cozy Christmas Greeting to someone you LOVE <3
I am very found of sending Christmas Cards. This is a tradition that unfortunately slowly disappearing. Year after year media takes more and more over, People send Christmas Greeting in a SnapChat, text messages and facebook.
I want to encourage you all that made your own cards, to send homemade cards in the mail <3 Think about how much joy you can spread, just in one homemade card <3
I know that if I got homemade Christmas Card in my mail, I'll be thrilled <3
Did you know that Christmas Cards is an old tradition that started in England?
It was an English man who designed the first Christmas Card with the text "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You" in 1843, hes named was John Calcott Horsley. But the big mass production started in the US in 1875 by a German man, named Louis Prang.
